611155 flzsfary On May 28 1953 twenty two sophlstlcated semors wlll end one of the most successful fllghts ever to be en countered ln the halls of Industry Hlgh School On September 1949 we began our frrst fllght wrth twenty elght passengers aboard our transport plane THE EAGLE The crew was headed by p1lot Ray Lee Baldner co prlot Harold Wtlson and the stewardess who counted noses and pa1d all brlls Donna Wheeler Whlle checkmg the baggage room we d1scovered a stow away Mrs Reed who we elected as our advxsor When we landed for refuellng we forgot Carroll Kessler who boarded a plane for Adaxr and Charlre Lotz When we counted noses before takmg off we d1scovered two extra passengers Joe Wheeler and Edward McAdams About half way through our flrst flrght Rodney Russell became alr sxck and parachuted out and was later prcked up by another transport Our second fllght began rn September 1950 wrth twenty s1x members Before we started we elected Sam Spnng prlot Mary Jane Aten co p1lot and Kenny Morley to count noses and pay the bllls As we were gettmg ready to take off Mrs Reed declded to transfer to another plane so we elected Mrs Underwood and Mr Iodl to rlde wlth us Whrle flymg over Industry Ronald Gray Edward McAdams Robert Teel and Lyle Vail parachuted out rn hopes of flndrng somethmg better below Wh11e on our flrght Mary Allce Alexander transferred to a matnmomal plane and Norma Robmson was transferred to Astorta s plane also Whlle we were sun bathmg 1n the summer Kenny Morley left us to be wrth the Western I-hgh transport Our th1rd flrght began rn September 1951 w1th nlneteen aboard our plane We elected Joe Wheeler prlot Mrs Reed and Mr McGrady hltclung a rrde and we plcked them up for our 3dV1SOIS At the begrnmng of our thousandth mxle our plane began sputtenng so we landed and gave our play Papa Say No tn order to raxse some money for repalrs As we neared the end of our thr1d fllght we were flagged down by Adarr who Jorned wrth us to glve the Jumor Senlor Banquet at the Manne Room ln Macomb and the Prom at the Industry Gym Whlle flylng around the world dunng our summer vatation Joe Wheeler got drzzy whrle flymg over Texas and batled out Then as we refueled ln Florrda we met Adair s blg transport and s1x glrls and one boy transfer red to the Industry transport whrle the others stayed to go to Macomb Because of thls we started our fourth fllght w1th twenty three members ln September 1952 We elected as our prlot Donna Rexroat co pllot Ioyce Featherlm and Jams Plate to count noses and pay all bllls Before taklng off we found Mrs Janes and Mr Yard hard up for Jobs so we lured them as stewardess and mechamc Whlle flymg over Industry our motor became loose and fell out so we made a crash landmg and gave our semor play That s Our Boy to rarse money for a new engme Half way between our destmatron Mary Lath rop Jomed the Colchester crew Mary and Joe Wheeler plan to recetve therr wnngs wrth thelr old crew members On May 28 1953 we made a rest stop at Industry when we alI'rece1ved our wings before we prled into our transport to start on our semor tnp fhght Senior 611155 Zfrnplzecy As we are flymg around over the country fifteen years later we drop in on the graduatmg class of nineteen hundred and fifty three and fxnd that many changes have taken place during tlus penod of tune As we suspect ed many of the members of thxs outstanding class have become very successful I Harold Wilson, co-pilotg and Mary Jane Aten to count noses and pay all bills.
