Marland Marshall, a senior in his first year ex- perience, showed a great desire and interest in the game, Richard Yaap, another senior playing his first year of ball, had a fine attitude and good spirit. Joe Wheeler should really have been called Mr, Rebound, He's a potential scorer plus a fine defensive player, Sam Spring was a hustler and this is the one essential thing that Sam showed over every one else, he was a very aggressive player, He was also a good fighter, Dick Cash is potentially a very fine shot, a good rebounder, and a fair ball handler. Bill Pollock was a late comer as far as the basketball season was concerned, The end of the year Bill helped us with rebounding and his ball handling improved to a great extent, Larry Plate was a very good sophomore prospect, He was our dribbling wizzard and also a fine defensive player for his size.
