Motto, Learning to do, doing to learn, learning to live, living to serve, Officers: President, Bob France, Vice President, Nelson Snowden, Secretary, Sammy Spring, Treasurer, Bill Pollock, Reporter, Kenny Spring, Sentinel, Wayne Clemens, Advisor, Mr. Nelson, The FFA Chapter of the Industry High School has for the past five years operated a small farm, which gives an opportunity to those boys studying vocational agriculture, a practical means of application of the scientific principles of crop production. Through soil testing, fertilizer application, seed treatment, inoculation, rotation planning, weed control, brush control, the use of improved crop varieties, strip cropping, terracing and contour farming, we expect to control erosion and increase the productive capacity of this farm. While a large part of the income derived from the farming operations has been returned to the farm through improved practices, many of the other worthwhile activities of the FFA are financed by this means.
