GIRLS' SOFTBALL The Rajah Softball Team has always been fortunate in having great athletes and, naturally, in winning. The 1977 Girls' Softball Team was no exception. This team began with the advantage of two 1976 All DVL selections, Mary Henderson and Cyndi Over- hulse. Six veteran players Peggy Senior, Reina Avila, Jo Salter, and Diana Arteaga were joined by six JV's from last year, Denise Castilleja, Jacque Dobbins, Torri King, Cheryl Campbell, Kelly Ruiz, and Jenny Savage. Both the Varsity and the Junior Varsitylhad very successful seasons with outstanding performances by the teams. Under the fine coach- ing of Mike Heron, the girls closed out the season with great records. The Junior Varsity shows many prospects available for the Varsity team in 1978.
