VARSITY TENNIS The 1977 Indio High School Varsity Tennis Team had a very successful year with five letter- men returning and Jim Turpin in his second year as coach. Bob Pohatu, DVL champ 1976, got the team off to a good start early in the season, aided by the young talented freshman, Donald Woods, who brought new life and spark to the well-rounded team.
