VARSITY SOCCER The first soccer team for Indio High School got off to a good beginning. This year's team had good experiences and at the end of the season even placed two mem- bers on the all-league team. Next year most of the team will be returning. They will have a returning all-league middle posi- tion who will be the key to the team. VARSITY BASKETB LL The 1976-77 Rajah Basketball Team was one of the finest in the school's history. The Rajahs went through league play with an unde- feated record and won twenty against only four losses. This year the Indio squad placed four players on the All-League team, Gary Willis, Marc Hurlburt, Herbert Evans, and Rick Garcia. The graduating seniors have to be proud of the accomplishments over the entire season, and the underclassmen on this year's var- sity show the promise of another successful basketball team in the coming season.
