The organization provides a wonder- ful education for leadership and Knowledge of agriculture for the American farmers of the future. Activities for the year were many. The Chapter carried on wheat, oats, and corn test plots. These plots were de- signed to prove the correct varieties of grain to be used in Warren County. Other activities were cooperative purchase of garden seedsg participation in bond and stamp drivesg co- operative mixing of feeds, and recreation in the form of noon basketball and parties. But more than that, it was their earnest- ness, dependability, and loyalty to the team and school that made their work a success. Splendid line play both of the offense and defense. The best all around member of the team, in fact he occupi- ed every position but coaching. Best punter in State. The fleet-footed swivel hips of the gridiron. Fine passer and ball carrier. Fine spirit and determination, and tough on the defense. Had more power than any army tank. Noted for his ball carrying and passing, and outstanding defensive play. Exceptionally speedy and fine pass catching end. Good downfield blocker. A very fast and shifty ball carrier.
