They have had a lot of fun participating in their activities. The class play this year was “Happy Birthday. George. During Easter their egg hunt was held inside because of rain. Some of their favorite special days were Kite Day. May Day. and their Mexican Fiesta. They also enjoyed their Christmas party. Each student took part in various contests. Some of these were a classroom spelling bee. art contests, and computer class. These students were really dressed well in their Guess Jeans, jams, tie-died shins. Keds. and hairbows. Mississippi State shirts, and Ole Miss shirts. Their favorite colors were blue, green, red. pink, yellow, and peach. In class Mrs. Thornton read her class several books. Among their favorites were hppi Longsux'king. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Stuart Little. On the sporty side, this class enjoyed rainy day games such as Candyland, Battleship. These students liked to read funny and realistic books, such as The Wizard of Oz, Romana Quimby, Age Eight, and Freaky Friday. This group of third graders took field trips to the Petrified Forest, Delta State's Planetarium. Delta Pride Catfish, and Lewis Grocer. Favorite T.V.
