Dedication This year’s COLONEL'S DIARY staff and sponsor dedicate the 1979 yearbook to Mrs. Hazel Penn. Through her guidance, patience, and determination she has led her students to strive for the best and to achieve their goals. Mrs. Penn has left a strong impression on those of us who had her in either eighth grade or junior English. We shall long remember “on a table, on a table, on a table, beating the rhythm patterns in poetry, Let's you and me, let's you and me, let’s you and me, and those after school learning sessions. Through all of this we probably were most impressed by her good sense of humor, her compassion for us, and her dedication to her profession and her Christian ideals. For this dedication and loyalty as a teacher and friend, we take pride in dedicating the 1979 COLO- NEL'S DIARY to Mrs. Penn and wish her much happiness and success in the future. 3
