The learned of all past times have left us rich legacies of knowledge which in their turn have been stepping stones to our present stage in Edu- cation. We have been helped while here to gain a broader view of the meaning and the worth of Education. It has been the purpose of the Staff in preparing this volume of the Marionette both to preserve in memory by words and pictures the pleas- ant experiences of school life, and also by the art theme to portray the Progress in Education.
