It was near to the towns of Auburn and Bluffton, though. The shortest term of the branch campuses was spent here, being the only one year center before being moved to Indy.

In Memorium To Russell Showen This page is being dedicated to the memory of Russell Showen. As our classmate he attended the Fort Wayne Center during our first year together. Russell is fondly remembered for his dedication, patience, kindness, unselfish- ness, and his quiet, easy-going nature. During the summer of 1986, he and his fiancee tragically passed away while visiting the Huntington College campus. Think of him still as the same, I say. He is not dead; he is just away. Nor is he away from the better part Away from the eye. but not the heort. And he lingers near to soothe our pain And he teaches that life and death are gain. And he waits on the bright eternal shore. For the handicaps of brotherhood once more. — James Witcomb Riley
