FRES Magner, MacKay, Swauger, Saylor, Michael As we came here to spend our first year on campus it was with a sincere desire to accomplish as m.uch as we could. Through classes and social ac- tivities we soon became acquainted with the faculty; through customs we came to know the upper classmen. After this, with our confidence bolstered, we were ready to take a more active part in all college activities. In the middle of the first semester, when we met to organize our class, a committee of students from all depart- ments nominated fellow classmates as candidates for class offices. From these nominations we elected our officers, ho made plans for the activities of the w year, Including the prom. With the experience and the achievements of our first year behind, we are now looking forward to the re- mainder of our college career at Indiana.
