AdnilnislrdtifH! WILLIAM J. JACK, A. M., Ph. D. As ])reccptor at liicliaua. Dr. Jack is master of the situation. J lis attitude toward the boys is most senpfous and of good wiU. It is a faet that the boys are doing better work than they have done heretofore. The dormitory life is clean and wholesome, and is becoming more and more preferred to private rooming, as is shown by tlie fact that the dormitory cannot acconunodate all who would room in it. Possessing as he does a scliolarly knowledge of his subjects, and a strong personality, he is sought as a teacher not only by the boys whom he is over Init by the girls also, for they know the value of his instruction. Dr. Jack is heartily in favor with boys ' athletics. He makes possible some form of athletics for all the boys of the school. Each year lie develops a track team which is a credit to Indiana, giving everyone a chance who wishes to de- velop in any form of track woik.
