Freshmen ortentation week introduced all aspects of unwwersity life to incoming students, from the academic necessity of testing to the social appeal to the fraternity-sorority “Freshmen Sing.” Betsey Wood and Liz Jones, co-chairmen of Freshman orientation, introduced the ISU campus to the incoming students. Supposed “automation” of the IBM cards at registration caused inevitable confusion.
