Since the larger number of graduates leaving the school will enter into the teaching profession, it is only natural that education will play an important role in their future. The educational department faculty strived to help the student by presenting the situations and solutions to the everyday problems they will be faced with in their own classrooms. APPA D LTA Pl Professional attitude, sound scholarship, fine character and desireable social traits were the necessary requirements to be a member of Kappa Delta Pi. Also, the membership was restricted to students of the teacher educational program who had a scholastic index of 3.5 or better. This honorary fraternity promoted scholarship and better understanding of the field of Education.
