Bill Groendyke and Bob Bielski served as co- director and business manager, respectively, of this yearas Campus Revue. It looks as if Lambda Chi Alpha will have to borrow some iiYankee lucka, from the baseball world champions when it pertains to homecoming floats. 0111' float broke from its hitch as it was being towed from the fairgrounds, and it turned over in a ditch. However, the decorations of our house won first place in the homecoming house decorations contest. Lambda Chi Alpha7s ritual team participated in the installation of a new colony at Valparaiso Uni- versity last October. Regularly scheduled open houses and go-to-ehurch Sundays were held throughout the year. Bill Hoffman was listed in 7,103 Who in Ameri- can Colleges and Universities, and Bill Groendyke and Bill Linville were initiated into Blue Key. Marvin Hougland, Bob Bielski and John Clascoek served this year on Student Council; and Bill Hoff- man and Finis Jent were elected president and treasurer, respectively, of the Inter-fraternity Council. Plans have been drawn by contractors for im- provements in our house. With the help of our advisory council, the improvemenls will begin in the near future. The highlight of the year, the third annual QiWhite Rose Dance;7 was March 6th in the May- flower Room of the Terre Haute House. White roses were again the main decorations 0f the dance.
