Float periods were wonderful, especially on days like this. We didn't have a care in the World except maybe an economics test, but for the moment all such thoughts were cast aside. Re- freshing fall air and the general atmosphere of tl1e Union lawn gave way to campus chatter. Topics for discussion might have been Squeal, Homecoming, or summer vacation experiences, but, no matter what they were, books were forgotten momentarily.
