Mark Pearcy sets a new record, 6 ' 4 on the high jump at Kentucky School for the Deaf. We Jumped High And Ran Chris Walters and I were very pleased with the boys ' performances this year because they had a small number of outdoor practice days due to bad weather, said Coach Dan Fitzpatrick. Their experience and dedication were the factors for a very satisfying season with a record of 5 and 2. We also placed second in all three big meets. The Four M ' s — Andrew Metz, Rocky Murray, Vincent Miller, and Kelly McKee, set a new school record in the 400M relay with an incredible time of 43.77. Kerry Stewart claimed the 400M record with a 52.8. Mark Pearcy flipped over the bar set at 6 ' 4 to beat his school high jump record. He also earned the MVP award. Kerry Stewart earned the MIP and Kelly McKee the Charles Whisman Mental Attitude award. Vincent Miller gives Kelly McKee a baton on 400 meter relay. Her most pleasureable experience with the team was the Kansas Track Tournament with 8 different deaf schools. We won 3rd place out of 8.
