Winning 3rd place at CSSD in Kansas and having Kim Mann and Tracey Parker named to the CSSD All Star team highlighted our season. During the game against Missouri for 3rd place, we played terribly at first. At the end of the 3rd quarter we trailed 24 points. Then we began our comeback. We outscored them 26 to 4. We were tied at the final buzzer 50-50. From that point, I expected to win and we did 56-51, said Coach Reifel. We often out- rebounded or out played the opponents. Shooters who can shoot anywhere beyond 10 feet from the basket was our weakness. Junior, Donna Webb, a well- known thief on the court stole the ball an average of 4.2 times a game and her shooting average was 9.1 points per game. The most valuable player was Kim Mann and the most improved player was Davanna Beeson.
