We wonder if the teachers are as glad as the pupils? 8-Band plays for Teachers' Institute. 10-Annual pictures taken today. 11--Heydon and Hal are trying to offer alibis for their black eyes. 12-Prof. Kaiser of Franklin College spoke on Abraham Lincoln in assembly.-Botany class visited Carney Hatchery. 13-Beriault gives Hoosier School Master. 15-Several high school pupils guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fertig. 18-Perfect copies in typing still unheard of. 19-Annual staff meeting. 20-Botany class saw Sunny Side Up as guests of Miss Woollen. 21-Masonic Home defeats Clark, 55-31. 22-Masonic Home draws Greenwood for Sectional tourney. 24-Henry K. English poetry contest started. Didn't know we had so many poets in such a small school. 25-Basket ball team goes to Franklin to practice for tourney. 26-Two of Advanced Shorthand class wins O. G. A. certificates. 27-Special show. Miss Ruth Knowlin of Lyric theatre plays for show. 28--Sectional tourney. MARCH 1-Masonic Home loses in semi-finals of Sectional tourney to Center Grove. Franklin wins tourney. 5-Arthur J. Beriault and cast gives The Bull's Head. 7-Mrs. Bayliss' cottage gives party for basket ball boys.-Mary Jacobs wins oratorical contest. 10--Juniors win from Sophomores in finals of interclass tourney. 12-Annual wiener roast. A good time enjoyed by everyone. 13--First base ball practice.-Tryouts for Senior class play. 15-High school and grade pupils listen to State tourney over the radio through the courtesy of Mr. Bice.-Mrs. Rockner's cottage gives radio 'party for basket ball team. 17-Typing classes judge pictures for Grand Lodge exhibition. 18-Miss Jones' cottage gives party for Alva Neal and Masonic Home basket ball teams. 19-Journalism class visit the Franklin Evening Star. 21-Mr. Danner, of Irvington, gives interesting chalk-talk. 24-Mary Jacobs loses in district oratorical contest. 25-Did you notice Heydon Buchanan's clean shirt? 26-Sunshine Society meeting about Scrap Book. Laura Duffy elected President for next year. 28-Several orchestra girls played at chicken dinner and meeting of the American Christian Association. 31-Annual April Fool's day program postponed. Defeated North Side Redskins, 35-21. 8-A lot oi sleepy boys in school today. 9-Laura Duffy missed a class meeting for once. She was uptown. 12-Mr. Yale Butler gives interesting picture show on the Romance of Papermakingf' 13-Basket ball game with Greenwood. We won, 47-27. 14-Coach Jamison and team were guests of Alva Neal High School at the Franklin-Seymour basket ball game. 18-A certain Junior couple burst into the library Where the Seniors were holding Annual Staff meeting. 19-Faculty gives a Christmas party.-Grades give The Nativity. 20-Band goes to play for the dedication of the Madison-Milton Ohio River bridge. 21-Virginia Wesbey and Paul Silvers visit the Home. 23-Girls' chorus gives King of Christmas. -High school boys guests of Mr. Fahnley Bridges at the Artcraft theatre. 24-Every one has the Christmas spirit. 28-Girls' Cottage No. 2 gives dance for high school. 30-Back to school again. Miss Marian Coy, Jean and Leroy Bradnick visited school.-Dr. Roscoe Gilmore Stott gives talk on Died on Third. 31-Annual New Year's dance. JANUARY , 2-Rev. Meengs, Presbyterian minister, speaks before assembly. 3-Ben Davis defeated us again, 36-30. 4--Game with Silent Hoosiers called off on account of spinal meningitis. 7-El Comancho gives interesting talk on Indian Life and Customs. in assembly.-High school is guests of Mr. Fahnley Bridges at the Artcraft theatre. 11-Masonic Home draws Trafalgar for the County Tournament. 13-Yell contest started.-Basket ball team practice on Franklin floor for tourney. 13-Junior play practice. 16-Caroline Curlec and Halbert Price win Yell contest. 17-Pep session. 17-18-County Tournament. Edinburg Champions 19--Catherine and Olive Turner, alumni, visited the Home. 20-EXAMINATIONS! ! 22-Mr. Wyrick, member of school board, drowned. 24-Scroll published. 26-Game called off with Center Grove out of respect to Mr. Wyrick. 31-Defeated Nineveh by a score of 37-17. FEBRUARY 1-Masonic Home takes fast game from Whiteland, 33-26. 3-Juniors give Billy's Aunt Jane. 6-Hopewell defeated in overtime game, 29-27.

l H CHQ 3-Economics class visit bank and courthouse. 4-First base ball game. We lost to Mooresville 9-6. 5-High school girls attend Franklin College play day. 7-Class play practice. Frist act coming along nicely. 25-Eastern Star day at the Home. A fine exhibit was shown by the school. 28-Annual April frolic given by the Girls chorus. 30-Base ball game with Washington. We won, 8-7. MAY 1-Books were put away and everybody attended the circus. 3-Base ball game with Park of Indianapolis. We lost, 11-5. 6-Revenge is sweet. Franklin tripped, 5-2. 8-Orchestra goes to Indianapolis to play for the Caravan Club. 13-14-14-The band attended the annual state Knights Templar Conclave. 19-Grades give splendid operatta, Forest Court. 22-High school girls attend Franklin College May Fete. 23-Senior class presents Anne of Ann Arbor. 26-Seniors attend Franklin high school Baccalaureate service. 27-Seniors receive invitations.-Band goes to Indianapolis to play con- cert for Grand Lodge meeting. 28-Grand Lodge day at the Home.-Seniors are entertained by Mr. and Mrs. Dayton Fertig. 30-No school. JUNE 1-Baccalaureate service for graduating class. 2-Seniors entertained by Miss Esquline Coons at the Red Elephant Inn. 3-Junior-Senior reception given by Juniors in Mrs. Bayliss' cottage. 4-Class night with plenty of fun. 5-GRADUATION-Commencement exercises. 6-Senior breakfast given by the Faculty.-School picnic. 14-15-Home-coming.
