Root, Clayton is working in a print shop at Churubusco, Indiana. Root, John is living at Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he is employed. Sperry, Maxine is working in a doctor's office in Peru, Indiana Turner, Helen is living at Kokomo, Indiana, where she is employed by the Superior Tool Company. Hopkins, James is going to night school at Columbus, Ohio. Johnson, Robert is employed at the Service Shop at Franklin, Indiana. Miller, Lewis is a linotype operator at South Bend, Indiana. Mitchell, Willabelle is living at Vin- cennes, Indiana. Mosier, Walter is employed by a blue print company at Fort Wayne, Indiana. ll Lmao momom erm Ye Olden Calendar SEPTEMBER 9-School started. Only half a day on account of schedule. 10--A lot of green Freshies were seen running around trying to find where to go. 25-Dr. Olin E. Halloway passed away. OCTOBER 2-Sunshine Society Initiation. 3--Mildred Parks McClurg died after long illness. 18-19-Seniors go to Indiana Press Association convention. 22-First staff meeting for annual. 24-President Homer Rainey of Franklin College gave a talk on Where Do You Live? 25-Junior-Senior debate. Seniors won, 2-1.-First pep session. Laura Duffy and Paul Utterback elected cheer leaders.-Game with Union. We won 30-25. NOVEMBER 1-Masonic Home wins from Clark, 28-19. 2-Another victory added to our list by defeating Avon, 39-27. 4-Celebration of the three secessive basket ball victories. Burning of Old Man Avon, snake dance and a general good time. 8-Defeated Beech Grove in a fast game, 38-24. 9-Second team defeated by Franklin seconds, 38-15. 11-Supt. Authur Camipbell gave interesting talk on the World War and Flag. The grade orchestra furnished the music. 13-Juniors and Seniors were guests of Clyde Willard at the Lyric theatre. We met Charlie Murray in person. 14-Wiener roast called off on account of rain.-Beriault presented, The Exasperating Female. 16-High school girls go to Indianapolis to see Butler-Milliken foot ball game. 17-Orchestra attends chicken dinner given at Trafalgar. 21-Claire B-arnette and Uke Girls go to Bloomington to entertain at a Kiwanis meeting.-Arthur Beriault presented Hamlet 22-First defeat of season. Ben Davis won, 50-27. 23-Mary Doris Barnette, former member of I-Iome, was married to Mr. Charles Todd of Morgantown, Indiana. 27-Juniors and Seniors give flag program. 28-Masonic Home defeats Franklin in football game, 30-0. 29-Senior girls begin typing for Mrs. Regett again. DECEMBER 1-Miss Marian Coy of Marion, former English teacher here, visited the Home. 3-Junior-Senior class meeting to nominate Scroll staff.-De Molay of Indianapolis gave My Dixie Rose. 0 DP CLC: 'WO QCA IEE
