fe PCB DD CBO: 'WO O O FE l Wi C9 MN lQf'7l GD Ph' Q The Vocational Class is . . l First row, left to right: Robert LeRoy, Ralph Pratt, Hubert Griffy, Archie West, Richard Pierson. Second row, left to right: Mr. Winslow, Instructor, Eldridge Hart- man, Shellie Shonk, Edward Pruitt. Third row, left to right: Jay MacGinnitie, Charles Guinnup, Clyde Parsley, Melvin Miller, Charles Irvine. HE vocational departments, under the supervision of William Winslow, are composed of four divisions. The carpentry and cabinet making class is perhaps the most popular. This class has very successfully accomp- lished many large projects, tables, chairs, etc., and furnishes a Very interesting course for Freshmen and Sophomore students. The steel and wood lathes are used extensively in turning out many useful projects. This depart- ment is composed of two wood and one steel bench lathes. The vocational de- partment is fully equipped for a thorough course in sheet metal and tinning work but is not used extensively as there is no regular class specializing in tinning. A very interesting course and quite a useful one is the auto mechanics department of vocational training. During the year, miany different makes and parts of cars are delved into with satisfactory knowledge gained by their various mechanisms. The vocational training department has had a very successful year and has the promise of a much larger enrollment next year.
