the BIG move From the beginning — Indiana Tech has dreamed of its own campus. Now that dream is a reality. On July 1, 1957, the College formally took possession of its new home. The move to the new campus marks another milestone in the progress of Indiana Technical College. Immedi- ately a great transformation started taking place. The old is giving way to the new! Rebuilding on the sturdy foundations of the past — the Indiana Tech campus is rising and growing into a plant of beauty and efficiency. All these changes were made possible by the Charles A. Dana Foundation, the Fort Wayne community, and the Indiana Tech Alumni. This generosity has, not only helped to make Indiana Tech an even greater college, but has thus served the cause of free men everywhere.

President Keene prepares to leave the old campus for the new. There can be no progress without change. There can be no progressive change without courageous decision. About three years ago Indiana Technical College made its decision. The new campus was purchased. On July 1, 1957, the college formally took possession, and is now proudly widening its scope of service to students, the alumni and its friends. The future of Indiana Tech is wholly one of progress. This imposes upon Tech a great responsibility and challenge. We face the future with the full knowledge that we can achieve our goals only with the help and prayers of our loyal students, alumni and friends. We look forward to the day when Indiana Tech will stand on the highest pinnacles of education and service. We have made our move. We will not fail. Archie T. Keene, President.
