The student cheered wildly when Indiana chalked up another victory and celebrated happily at the after-game dance. It was iust this morning, iust yester- day, or maybe years ago . . . Now it is all over, lost forever in the shifting sands of time. The chance to remember lies within these pages where no winds blow the marks in the sands of memory. These are the times to remember and hold dear to heart and mind. These are the precious times-known only to Indiana High.

There is no community enterprise more im- portant than the education of the oncoming gen- eration. That the community realizes this is ap- parent, because more money is appropriated for this purpose than any other. The High School provides the students with an educational pro- gram rated as superior by the Middle States SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS Superintendent Edgar C. Perry, B.S., Penn- sylvania State University, M.A., University of Pennsylvania, D,Ed., University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Perry is a member of Phi Delta Kappa honorary education fraternity, secretary at the Pennsyl- vania State Association of District Superinten- dents and editor of their publication, Super News, and a member of the Governor's Ad- visory Council, Association of Schools and Colleges. Credit for this excellent educational program must be given to a forward-looking administration, a superior staff of instructors, and a school program to meet the needs ofthe pupils. The Board and Admin- istration believes The permanent wealth of the nation lies in the minds and lives of its youth. SECRETARIES Patricia Flick, Mrs. Florence Barbi, and Mrs. Donna Sprinkle are Dr. Edgar C. Perry's secretaries. Mrs. Barbi also serves as Secretary to the Board of School Directors. 6
