David Frank Montoro Birmingham, Ala. Uh-Uh-sure! Everyone knows Dave. He is going to Vandy. Didn't you know that Dave wos editor of the Khalas? How's the yearbook coming along, David? He was also in the Glee Club and a member of the Judiciory, but mostly was just one of the boys. Nothing to worry about. I've gotevery-thing under control. George Malcolm Murray Birmingham, Ala. G.M. was a machine. Malcolm Q. spent hours in seclusion. That's why he was listed in the directory as a day student two years after he had become a boarder. But all this is not foir to Malcolm. He was, after all, Chairman of the Food Comm, and even though no one showed up for the meetings, his noble efforts at this job got him elected President of Helena’s Vegetarian Society. David Feinefeld Ovson Mt. Brook, Ala. Dave wos the only ISS part-time student, but was a full-time party member. He was one of the most beautifully coif-feured people on campus and was the only guy who could bother Goldstein. On the brighter side, David alone practically unified the entire school, for he was the student that the jocks, fairies, intellectuals, and vegetables all felt the same about. 93

Thomas Wilbur Maddox Anniston, Ala. Tommy cored. He was concerned for others and tried to help them and the school. He carried this attitude over into sports where he was a team man. Dowg was the type of guy you always wanted around, especially if you were going to a party. Other than these fine attributes, Dawg was also a star in soccer, football, golf.... Edwin George Mistr Richmond, Va. Uncle Pete wasn’t a hypocrite. Naaaa! Nazi arm-banded at school, Pete was secretly one of the weekend Jews. Sometimes the Perv carried his desire to be different to an extreme-like when he chopped off half a finger to become the 9 1 2 fingered giant. During his leisure time, Pete was a bigot, a member of the Eat with Schuler for Lunch Bunch, and Captain of the ISS Croquet Squad. George Andrew Monk Anniston. Ala. Mawnk's room always had more commotion than Richmar Dr. at 8:00 on o Friday night. George was the only student ever who looked like a Mayor and he spoke with such eloquence. Toilet-bowl Head also was noted for being a goalie, gesticulating at policemen, and was a purple passions connoisseur. 91

Roger McCoy Pitt Decotur, Ala. When Rog talked everyone listened. Unable to survive the rigors of faking his jacket on and off during a b-ball game, Roger was forced to retire. His arm has been enshrined on the Coach Cameron Memorial Bench for the impression he left on the team, and more importontly, the bench. Arm!!! Romaine Samples Scott III Birmingham Ala. Scotty is a commuter. He commutes. In case you’re interested, Scotty was the only 4-year resident of the Yellow Submarine except for the six hours a day he frequented Montor’s room. His 16 foot pole awed the entire county. Scotty was also an honorary member of the Nerd Herd and stood out in the Glee Club. Scotty was always noted. William Eli Shine III Birmingham. Ala. Although posing as a subdued, wishy-washy type guy at ISS, Bill emerged as Most Popular Guy on Campus at Tuscaloosa High School by beating all the other boys in the race. And he was also known in his infamous town of Fultondale as the only eligible bachelor. But at school, Billy Boy's only accomplishment was getting the dry heaves off near-beer. Uh, gee Berney, whatever you say, don't forget I was Chairman of the Judiciary. 94
