ROBERT GOODLOWE McGAHEY III Twinkletoes was one of the best students ever to come to Indian Springs. He was a Merit Scholar. captain of the basketball team, President of the Glee Club, and Commissioner of Education. Bob set up living quarters in the library, complete with a toothbrush. It is hoped he will learn good studv habits at Harvard. “I'm already 237 hours behind this year!” JACK DOBBS McSPADDEN. JR. Moose had more vim than any other student. He was a soccer forward and had a genuine interest in all school activities. Mr. King gave up grading tests after he found Pooh already knew all the grades. “I've solved all my problems. May I help you with yours? FRANCIS ANTHONY MARZONI, JR. Scoop is a prime example of what student evaluation can do for a boy. Determined to be an all-around guv, he was a Merit Finalist, and lie helped DerPs ailing baseball and basketball teams for three years. Tony plans to ace the giant slaloms down the White Mountains of New 1 iampshire. Hi, guy!”

MARK HENRY GITENSTEIN Don Pedro made an able President of the Senior Class. He even not the banquet favors wholesale. Mark was a fine student and played fullback on the soccer team. As a result of rooming with Maulitz, he will be prepared for anything he happens to run into at Duke. DALE V. HILL, JR. Although Oiseau arrived as a Junior, he made a fast reputation for himself. He was a NMSC Finalist and a gifted actor and language student. His Continental ties and sport coats were admired by the whole school at Sunday dinner. We hope he and Eckert enjoy rooming togethei at Southern. “Indescribably delicious!” BENJAMIN HARDY JOHNSON III B-Trois was the first soccer plaver to follow Mr. Pich’s pre-game advice. Johnson got hot, laid out the goalie, and lobbed two balls through the net. It is rumored that Ren will join the Peace Corps before he graduates from college.

LAWRENCE RYDER MATTHEWS Although Fuse Bomb was proprietor of the 1SS casino for four years, he was a valuable asset to his class and the Trojan team. He also was a Merit Finalist and Commissioner of Recreation his Senior Year. We understand that Fuse will use his card winnings to build a new girls’ dorm at Duke. ROBERT MARX MAUL1TZ Maul was enjoyable to be around he entertained everyone with bis c tie remarks and un-obby v Council Secretary, and a Merit Finalist. He was controllable laughter is crypt . Bobb was a fine student. a m mber of the basketball and track teams and had a talent for getting into strange situations. Let’s hope he doesn’t lose it Harvard. LEROY CERALl) MONSKY, JR. Leroy talked in an incomprehensible foreign language most of the time, but on occasion bis irrepressible cry of “Hey. Jew! ’ resounded across campus, He was a charter member of the Car-of-the-Month Club and played first base for the baseball team.
