Practice, practice, practice. That's what our Basketball team had to do to be the team they were. Coach Gary Everton showed them that in order to be a winning team they had to practice. And they did. The Brave Basketball team sur- prised many people by defeating Great Bridge and then going on to defeat the number one team, Nor- com High School 87-76. The Basketball team had many outstanding players this year. High scorers for the team were Morris Clark with 168 points, Anthony Boyd with 131 points, Malcolm Harell with 116 points, and Butch Creecy with 107 points. The top re- bounders for the Braves were Per- cell Sykes and Butch Creecy with 107 and 80 rebounds respectively.
