Team Spirit Marked Clubs The Debate team took part in many tournaments through-out the year. Members of the class looked up a topic and researched it to form negative and affirmative views. This year the public was treated to another musical from Indian River's Drarnatics and Music De- partments. On April 14 and 15, Roger and Hammerstein's CAROUSEL was presented. This show involved many people to fill the roles as either chorus members, dancers, actors, or actressesg and under the skillful direction of Mrs. Carole' G. Smith, they all Were able to reach their potential. Mrs. Mildred Barnette and Mr. Iames Page graciously gave their time to Work with the cast in the musical numbers. As in past years, working on the play required much in time, dedi- cation, and work to learn lines, blocking, songs, and dances. The hard word all paid off when it re- sulted in two fine performances. 156 Play
