Services Outside The School ' A Kappa Phi is the school's only Hi-Y. They are very active as both a service and as a social organization. For this year, Kappa participated in YMCA World Service, the walk for mankind and helped to clean up some elderly persons' yards. Sigma and Kappa Extended Sigma kept up their standards by helping both school and communi- ty. They had their traditional Sadie Hawkin's Dance and Hairy Legs . Contest. Humanitarian Projects Are Sponsored The Key Club kept up the usual hard work. This year they sold col- oring books for Christmas presents. Some of their community projects were the annual Red Cross Blood Drive, flower sales for Valen- tine sweethearts and for Mothers Day. Their school projects con- sisted of Dress-up day, Stadium clean-ups after football games and Teacher Appreciation Day. The annual Blood Drive Day was always one of excitement. This ex- citement was brought on by the students who were trying to prove their bravery by giving blood and then swooning at the first drop drawn from them.
