The highlight of social activities is the Military Ball held each spring for all the Chesapeake IROTC uI1iiS and invited cadets from Manor and Churchland High Schools in Portsmouth. Discipline, Patriotism You have probably seen them in the Veteran's Day Parade, and the Portsmouth and Great Bridge Christmas parades. Annually they have captured trophies at the All- Chesapeake IROTC Field Day. Deltas attended the Homecoming dance. Deltas sponsored a bake sale. The Deltas helped the less fortu- nate by sponsoring a Thanksgiving food drive in which they involved the entire student body. They also gave candy to students and teach- ers during Halloween and Christ- mas. In addition, they gave a schol- arship to a deserving senior. The Deltas were a spirited group that served in many ways. They never minded going from class to class to get other students to participate in drives. Delta 137
