The club is composed of students who take part in the business and office courses. During the year, many guest speakers came to lec- ture to members on various business-related subjects. Some members had the opportunity to participate in regional and state competition, testing their ability to perform office skills. The over-all goal of the Future Homemakers of America club is to help its members improve commu- nity, personal, and family living, as well as to develop leadership abili- ty. HERO is a Home-Economics Re- lated Occupations Club. This orga- nization was formed to further its members' interest in the home eco- nomics cooperative education pro- gram. Students with a free period vol- unteered to Work as assistants in the media center, the main office, and the guidance offices. The tasks for the different assistants included answering telephones, locating students, reshelving books, and running errands. Student helpers lightened the work of the office staff by reporting to their assigned positions every day. Foreign Language Clubs Enrich Knowledge Aimez-vous manger? loin the French Club, Chez Nous. This is an organization of students who are taking French or have taken French. They visited La Crepe Res- taurant and tried French dishes. v Que Pasa? What's Happening? The Spanish Club kept busy throughout the year with lectures and banquets consisting of a Spanish cuisine. They could be found many times feasting on Tacos.
