An organization to which all stu- dents belong is the Student Cooperative Association. Seniors, juniors, and sophomores make up the S.C.A. Council that represents the entire student body. The S.C.A. continued to strive for full student participation in school activities and to foster closer stu- dent teacher relationships. They sponsored the Christmas Grinch Contest, collected money for the Firemen's Christmas Fund and had a variety of sales. To stay abreast of current Trends, the S.C.A. ACTIVITIES Times arose when We Directed our talents To activities outside of the classroom. We contributed time, effort, And most importantly, ourselves. We learned to work With others And we shared responsibilities. We were able to participate In the excitement of Homecoming Week, The magic of the Prom, The awe of the lviiss Indian River Pageant Humor of the Mr. Indian River Pageant And the Powderpuff Football. All of our extracurricular activities Were important in that We Worked together in Making Our Dreams Come True.
