The main purpose of the history club is to allow students interested in history to go beyond the textbook and deep into topics which would be impossible in normal history classes. In the past such lecturers as a military advisor to the troops in Vietnam and a college professor from Old Dominion Col lege who escaped from behind the Iron Curtain have been featured.
