Bi-Centennial's Over, Back To Normal Life lt's over with-finally! The Bi-Centennial that first gave us such a patriotic feeling was so commercialized that it eventually began to bore us. Red, white and blue yearbooks, T-shirts, underwear, cupcakes, dolls and games. Patriotic music, Bi-Centennial minutes on T.V. and the radio, pieces of local Americana in the newspapers bombarded our senses at every turn. And now it's '77 and a sense of relief steals over us. No more Bi-Centennial minutes! No more flashy under- wear! lt's back to normal life! s ++-Q. - A keg ln the barn brings about many smiling faces lT'S about time we did it right! smiles Wendy Smith and Peggy Worley. 14 l E g . .A,,f z l ' Flu raie i H l le, nl , -- ,,-.. ,F I- X . ,J f W.
