Students receiving their caps were: Gail Beal, Patricia Box, Julie Callahan, Jill Clark, Helen Curtis, Julie Dack, Elizabeth Darrah, Cynthia Gleason, Shelia Hamilton, Jeanie Johnson, Janice M. Love, Barb Mad- daleno, Cindy Milnes, Linda Mock, June Nickell, Sharon Nickell, Lucille Schuzer, Debbie Shenefield, Alice Simmons, Jayne Stufflebeam, Jeanne Thompson, and Paula Vest. Geraldine Wright also completed the re- quirements tor her cap, but was unable to attend the ceremony. Music was provided by Judy Bailey, Tim Bailey and Theresa Kopatich. Dave Harris was the guest speaker at the ceremony. He surprised everyone by appearing as the nurses had seen him all summer-in cut- ofls and sandals. Harris took the qualities he had kidded the nurses about and told how they were really qualities every good nurse needs. He presented one of the students with a hospital gown as a best dressed award in the humorous category. Later he explained how a nurse's tidy appearance makes patients more confident ol her. Building Trades is taught by Don Bitner, with some classroom assistance from Leon Thamke. The class runs for a complete year. During this time, the students ac- tually construct a complete house. They do all the work on the house in- cluding heating, plumbing, electricity and brickwork. By the end of the year the students are qualified to go directly to work. Many of the former students have become building contractors while others go on into engineering positions. 15.1 L F75 'L lg, X 7.4 ff, - .p A 6 E F in f -J H ., a H 'tr 1 -W. 3 V pm za .f vw . ,Www if ww .M H w . 9511 N IV awww ,. u W w Eg Pg- xq V, ' ,,5 if MQ 'Qlgg3a..
