5 Q f - . f A 1 Kids fresh out of high school who are on their way to a college degree or are working on a two-year program are important people at Indian Hills College. They're only part of the education story, though. Adults who have completed their formal education but who want to broaden their knowledge in a specific area of interest are im- portant too. So are the adults who are working to complete their high school education. This group is the back bone of the Indian Hills adult education program. Last year. about 18,000 adults enrolled for subjects ranging from data processing to slimnastics, from bridge to school bus education. . ' 1 --,lf . Classes are offered in the following categories: Vocation, college credit, hobby, continuing educa- tion, high school completion and general education development. Most classes meet one evening a week for two to three hours. Some of the classes otfered are tennis, data processing, carpen- try, bridge, ceramics, first aid, auto mechanics, sewing, up- holstering, art and men's physical education. The students who have been pictured swinging rackets are part of the growing army of tennis fans. 77
