Coach Scott gives some quick advice to Capt. Glenn Scott. 8. All the way for a touchdown! VARSITY FOOTBALL Big Braves Finish 6-4 The 1974 Varsity Football team, under new head coach Tom Scott, finished with a very fine 6-4 record in what many considered a rebuilding year. Losing a lot of size from the ’73 squad, the ’74 I.C. team boasted a smaller but quicker team which proved it could do the job by scoring 88 points in two games, while holding their opponents to 24 points. Caught up in the spirit of Homecoming, the Braves ripped the Brown Comity Eagles 36-13. The Junior-Varsity Braves, mostly Freshmen this season, finished with a 2-5-1 record. Under another new head coach, Mark Ferguson, the Braves, short in size but big on determination, lost a few due to inexperience, but look forward to next season and a better record. 8 Football .77 nmuHotm muxctj HttAHCRI iVCUMCi CX rV- T r -7 t «a M CR .T ViOiAN CRL ' 5 ' 78. BASKETBALL our braves don’t mess around Speed, good fundamentals and fast break were some of the ingredients the Braves used to create a winning season. Coach Branham had the advantage of six returning Seniors which was the nucleus of the team. With the help of promising underclassmen, the Seniors produced a 12-8 season, one of the best in the record of Indian Creek. Basketball .Sl reserve freshman basketball 1.
