The American flag flies proudly above our new school. The ”before and after” view of our school Students from three different schools waited a long time for a new school, one in which those three schools would be bound together. It was a long time coming but in the school year 1967-1968 it became a reality. Even though this school was not fully completed by the beginning of the school year, school did start on schedule. The students and faculty overcame many handicaps successfully to make the best of the first year. Lockers, lockers, where are the lockers?

Gym and School Dedication Ceremonies On Friday night, December 1, the formal dedica¬ tion of the gym was given between the Brown County-Indian Creek games. Phil Eskew, Indiana High School Athletic Association Commissioner was guest speaker. The following Sunday after¬ noon the dedication of the school took place in the newly dedicated gymnasium with an estimated crowd of 1,500 people attending. Mr. Harold Hibbs, Superintendent, welcomed the public and Mr. Hynds introduces the guest speaker, Mr. Ray¬ mond “Dutch” Struck, Athletic Director of Hano¬ ver College. Afterwards Mr. Charles Ray, Princi¬ pal, gave comments and instructions on the follow¬ ing open house. Then the school was opened to the public and refreshments were served. This beautiful cake was part of the Open House refreshments. 8 “ . . . we must meet the challenge of change.”
