It's Time to Shine! 4 Dedication 5 Classes 14 Elementary 23 Favorites 34-35 Student life The 1982 Annual staff has chosen the motto It's time to Shine! because our school has a great deal to be proud about, and it is time for the kids and faculty to recognize this and to show it! Indiahoma is a great school and can be greater if everyone works together We have proved it before, and we can prove it again! 36 Junior and Senior activities 37 Organizations 54 Faculty Our school may be small But we are over all With activities and lots of friends Until our year at IHS ends. 2 in '82 Dedication Indiahoma High School is proud to dedicate the 1981-82 Warrior Annual to Mrs. Mary Virginia Gray. Mrs. Gray taught English, Spanish, and Creative Writing at Indiahoma High School for eight years. While at Indiahoma, Mrs. Gray's main consideration was for her students. She put a great deal of emphasis on quality education and goal setting. She provided experiences to help students reach their potential Student efforts were rewarded by a sense of personal satisfaction and appropriate praise regardless on the size of the accomplishment. Mrs. Gray, our sincere thanks! 4 CLASSES Kari Davenport Billy Komahcheet Brian Wozniak 7 Valerie Clark Class Flower: White Rose Class Motto: New Horizons for Tomorrow Ricky Stoll Kim Covington Shauna Jones Teresa Stoll Kathy Quinn Mrs Bussanmas Seniors Cont'd. Our hearts are indeed some lonely vales as our days are filled with sorrow over the loss of one of our own; but his memory sets the echoes ringing and peace fills our hearts. Although his last days were difficult, he never complain- ed about his problems, but encouraged others with his persistence to con- tinually fight his physical battles. Our memories of a cheerful smile, a zest for life, and a fighting spirit will remain with us forever as they bring a smile to our hearts for the life of Chris Cheek. 22 FAVORITES Jim McClung Brenda Feind Brenda Feind, the daughter of Mr and Mrs Ruben Feind, has been chosen as Miss I H.S. for 1981-82 by the student body of Indiahoma Brenda is kept busy with many activities, such as Newspaper staff, an- nual staff, and Cheerleading Brenda is President of FHA and on the Stu- dent Council. |im McClung is the son of Mr and Mrs |im McClung )im is kept busy with many activities also. We will always cherish our memories here even though we ll be away from the classrooms of I.H.S and all of the activities There are so many happy moments our class has shared together like: the senior trip, taking senior pictures, supporting our team at basketball and baseball games, the prom, homecoming, class parties and all of those work days, and just being together as a class. A very close class! Years will pass and we ll have other things to do but we can still look back to the Senior class of '82. 61 The Annual Staff...
