Dedication Eva Franklin has long been an inspiration to student nurses. A graduate of the San class of 1924, she came from a small town in western Iowa. After graduation, Miss Franklin remained in Inde- pendenee and worked as a private duty nurse. When she returned to hospital nursing it was to be as Supervisor of' the Surgical Floor at the San.
