.....-,,. .... .. ,..................-....,............... ....,....-..-.......-......................-...,. .- ..,.. l 1 f kenaf, ' l f ,s ? if H Ig V, - 1' :,vf',,i To the many whose school spirit has never dimmed throughout our school year, To those who have voluntarily stayed after school till 4:50 and later working on such things as club projects, To the patient ones who have grown to like teachers in spite of homework, after-school sessions, and gum chewing problems, To those who have racked their brains preparing for tests, studying Constitutions and writing English essays, and have received nothing more for their efforts than chewed-up pencil ends, To those who have worn out lead, paper, erasers, and patience while writing a few thousand I must be quietsg To those who will cherish the unforgettable classroom memories, outstanding among them the flying missiles such as blackboard erasers and spitballsg To those who will remember such things as: The good times we had at assemblies, the welcomed break at noon time in which there was a mad dash for lockers, doors, and freedom, and of course the Teentowns with their all-round good, clean, fung To those who were a part of the crowded line of hungry beasts awaiting feeding time where one can stand in line and be shoved back and forth and finally sent to the ' end of the line to start it all over again, To those who suffered near heart-failure in the last minute rush to beat the tardy bell and the mile-a-minute sprint to catch the school bus, which always seems to pull out just as you came panting up, To those who have yelled and yelled and yelled in support of our basketball and foot- ball teams until finally the protesting voice box would yell no moreg To those who will miss the little' things: jammed lockers, forgotten combinations, Mr. Miller's daily solo on the chimes, the scuffling of feet between hours, and the noon basketball or volleyball games, Yes, to the entire student body, the leaders of tomorrow, we dedicate this 1957 Cub annual and with it go all the memories of a wonderful school year.
