Emory C. Parks Principal at Ort Secondary School Emory C. Parks, principal at the Ott Secondary School, seventh grade, has served in that capacity for the past two years. Before becoming principal, he was vice-principal at William Chrisman High School, and before that time he was a counselor at junior High School. Mr. Parks taught and coached at Vancouver, Washington, and taught in the college high school at Warrensburg, Missouri, before assuming his du- ties with the Independence, Misouri, system. Mr. Parks has made many friends among his sev- enth grade and former seventh grade students. They remember that he was ready to help them with their problems at all times, and talked with them in a manner that invited friendliness and confidence.
