Although she was born ln Grand Rapids, Michigan her home town ls Spring Valley, Illinois. Mrs. Roesler had a rather lofty childhood ambition to become a trapeze artist. Her favorite entertainment is play? ing bridge and she likes the comic strip 'Brenda Starr'. Mrs. Roesler likes the kind of gum that is still in its wrapper. Mr. John Meiseu Seymor, Missouri is the birthplace of Mr. John Meise, Home Room lO8, but his home town ls Kansas City, Missouri. He received his college education at Southwest State College, Springfield, Missouri, Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri. He also did some work at Arkansas State College, Jonesborough, Arkansas. Hls favorite comic strips are 'Wash Tubbs', and 'Bringing Up Father'. For entertainment he likes music and plays. He has no pets, but he likes , dogs. Juicy Fruit is his preference in chew- ing gum. , Y VA fMr. Eldon B. Hart Mr. Eldon B. Hart abandoned his child- hood ambition to become an automobile me- chanic for a teaching career, and we find him in Home Room 332. He received his college education at Graceland College in Lamonl, Iowa, and Kansas- State Teachers College, Pittsburg, Kansas. He claims Coffeyvllle, Kansas, as his birthplace, and Independence asxhis home town. His childhood idol was his good looking school teacher. Mr. Hart finds it's an interesting experience to associate the names and faces of new students with persons he has previously met. Listening to good music is his favorite entertainment and he especially likes 'Polonalse' by Chop- in. Photography is another of Mr. Hart's interests and we appreciate the much time and effort expended ln the preparation of the photographs for the Annual. Mr.Hart's only pets are the flowers in his classroom. His preference in chewing gum is Dentyne. Kmrs. Verna King Q Mrs. Verna King was born ln Cass County, near La Tour, Missouri, and she received her college education at Warrensburg. Formerly a resident of Harrisonville, her home town is now Independence, Missouri. As a child her ambition was to become a nurse, and her! Ugg idols were her parents and grandparents. Her first years of teaching in a rural school and coaching a-girls'3basketball team for five years supplied the most interesting ex- periences of her teaching career. She enjoys the comic strip, 'Blondie' and the song, 'White Chrlstmas'. Baseball ls her favorite entertainment and she likes Adams Clove chewing gum. Mr. John Parrish Mr John Parrish's Home Room is A22 Al . 3 , - though he was born in Detroit, Michigan, Inde-, pendence is his home town. He received his college education at the University of Miss- ouri. His favorite entertainment is square dancing and 'On Top of Old Smokey' is his fav- orite song. He likes the comic strip 'Steve Canyon', and Juicy Fruit is his choice gum. 12 Mr. Samuel Berg Wearing flashier ties than any other teacher has been the most interesting exper- ience of Mr. Samuel Berg, Home Room 320. His hometown ls Independence, Missouri and when asked where he was born he replied 'In a hospital'. His ambition was 'Not to be a tea- cherl' His childhood idol was any railroad engineer. He received his college education at the University of Kansas City and Sen Diego State College. 'Pcgc',ls Mr. Berg's favorite comic strip and any kind of gum the students have ls his favorite. He has no pets and his favorite song ls 'Waltz Me Around Again, Nellle'. Mr. Berg's choice in entertainment is home room skating parties. Miss Sarah Dallam The English teacher in room 325 is Miss Dallam. Miss Dallam was born in Faucett, Mo. but her home town ls Independence. She f attended Junior College at Camden Point, Ho. and Central Missouri State College, Warrens- burg. Miss Dal1am's childhood idols were her English teachers. Teaching agriculture to farm boys for 13 years was her most-inter- eating experience. Her favorite comic strip ls 'Blondie' and she doesn't like any song in particular. Stage plays are her favorite en- tertainment and she has no pets. Any kind of gum just sd it lsn't bubble gu will suit her jwlss Berdina Hogg Teaching the same group of children ln s small Iowa town for three years ithrough 7th, 8th and 9th grades! and then having a reunion with them two summers ago is the most inter- esting experlence of Miss Berdina Hogg. She was born ln her home town, Hopkinton, Iowa. Her ambition was to be a.physical education teacher. She received her college education at Kansas City University and University of Colorado. Her childhood idol was her oldest brother and her choice entertainment is lis- tening to good music. Her favorites are -Q, 'Dagwood and Blondle', 'Oh, How I Hate to Get Up ln the Morning', and Beechies lpeppermlnt flavored! chewing gum. She has no pets. .Miss Anna M. Craig A letter received from a student was a most interesting experience for Anna M. Craig while in the hospital. Miss Craig teaches geography in Home Room 327. Born in Windsor, Missouri, she received her edu- cation at Central Missouri State College, Warrensburg, Missouri. To be a nurse was her ambition. Miss Craig has no pets, 'But I like dogs,' she replied. Her favorites rare 'Blondle', 'When They Ring Those Gold- en Bells', and Yucatan chewing gum. Mr. Joseph Farley Sasco, Arizona was the birthplace of Mr. Joseph Farley, Home Room 326, although his home town is Los Angeles, California. He re- ceived his college education at Graceland College and Central Missouri State College. ,He realized his childhood ambition to become a teacher. Mrs. Horning, his high school bi- ology teacher, was his chlldhood idol. Teach- ing young men ln the Navy at the Naval Hos- pital Corps School ln San Diego, California provided the most interesting experience of his teaching career. 'Mark Trail' is his fav- orite comlc strip and he likes the song 'Trees'. Mr. Farley looks at life with a sci- entific angle because he likes to eat and sleep for entertainment. Peppermint flavored Beech-Nut ls his preference in chewing gum. For pets he has some tropical fish and ak ' parakeet.
