D KNOWLEDGE How do I know this war will cease? How do I know we shall have Pence? Though bombers roar and upward fly, Yet silver stars gleam in the sky. K Though blood is spilled upon the soil. Of for off lends, still midst the toil And cares of weary wer-filled hours I see a rainbow with the April Showers. Though hunger stalks across u land Ravaged bare by war's grim hand, Yet in the freshness of the spring The lurk again does bravely sing. Feithery lilaes wet with dew V Will fliunt their fragrance down in kew Yes, Piccurdy roses still will grow Bud and blossom in spite of foe. The miracle of an apple tree Whispered a message of hope to me, Yesterday it looked gnarled and grey It's wearing pink and white today. Sometime we shell again have pence, Some dey this ugly'wur will ceises' Hate will diminish,.love will grow, Godfs in His heaven, that's how I know. Grace Leednnn Rowe
