News concerning students, faculty, and events, both academic and extracur- ricular, is broadcast by those students enrolled in Radio Production. All phases of broadcasting are studied and experienced in the control room and studios on campus. Experience as engineers, program producers, directors, and announcers is a part of the training each student receives. Debate, study of the theatre, play production, oral inter- pretation as well as speech are other courses offered in the speech area. English composition and literature are offered on both freshman and sophomore levels.
