Testing and interpretation of the scores are used in helping the student choose a field of major endeavor which is in keeping with his personal in- terests and his ability. Students have freedom of choice since the counselor only advises the student on what he thinks will be a suitable direction. Mr. Wilson conducts surveys and studies to determine students' needs and the effectiveness of the college programs in preparing the student for transfer to other colleges and universities as well as supplying skills for immediate use by the terminal student. Counseling does not end in the counselorls office, for each instructor is trained to act as an enrollment counselor for those students who have chosen that instructorls field as a major.
