H- The Senior class, in expressing their heartiest wishes to the Faculty of the ' school, would like to thank them for their interest which they have shown us. 1 The Faculty has for its members students who have traveled the ways of ri - life and accomplished a task for which the world is striving. Their lives have 5 Q' as a beacon some great task which they wish to perform, and in doing this, If they pass through many hardships. ' In the different departments, the teachers are striving to raise the standard of our school which is for the betterment of our community. The school de- . partment has one of the greatest advantages in. having such a wonderful group 3 of teachers as we have. They deserve the full cooperation of the student body I and the citizens of the city. 1' it While Mr. Risdon has been the Superintendent of our schools, he has used Q- all of his time in trying to better our system in gathering the best qualified 1 teachers he could find. In doing this, he secured our Principal, Mr. Hughes, ' Q who has made great strides in advancing the system of I.H.S. In addition to -, lf these men we have many other capable teachers who desire to have our com- ' Qi munity represented by a first class school. Q The standard of our system for the teachers is high enough so as to have V the best possible instruction in the state. This is known to all who have in a way been connected with the school. As the school years go by the students , 5 realize more each day that the teachers are responsible for their start in life. 1:1 This will help them to make more ofa success in later life. + ' A few years ago it was thought that the use of school was to give the student a little arithmetic, Writing and spelling. Now there has been other B 'f vocational units added to the system which help to give a broader scope to the student who intends to take up one of the trades. These departments are A ' guided by experts in teaching the students.
