ln September of 1979, the-first true graduating class of Independence High School embarked upon their nal year of high school. This class is referred to as the first true graduating class of Independence it is the first class to have endured four full years here at l.H.S.. rit has risen to incredulous proportions. Almost the entire student body as well as the faculty partici- ed in Spirit Week. Attendance has risen at football and basketball games. Independence has finally n to blossom into an authentic school with an enthusiastic and vivacious student body.
