WMMTER CEARNIEWAL The Winter Carnival is an event which everyone looks forward to. The Carnival was held December 9, 1978. The urpose of the Winter Carnival is to raise money fior different groups and clubs. Some clubs represented themselves with different foods. The French club sold delicious crepes, the Portu- guese-Azorian club made lungxuica, the Asian club arbe ued Teri aki and sold on-tons. The C.S.U. made iliomemadbe burritos, and there were also lots of desserts. The food was fantastic, some ate so much they felt stuffed. For those that needed to do their Christmas shop- ping, there were crafts to buy such as jewelry, pot- tery ornaments, candles, and plants which made nice gifts. A main attraction at the carnival was the picture booth with Santa and his 14 foot snake, Tiny , For students that wanted revenge there was a sponge throw. Mr. Quick and Mr. Rogoway were the tar- gets for wet sponges. The Winter Carnival was a great success. kia WINTER CARNIVAL f
