The Art Club is a fun club to be involved in. With Ms. Golden and Nlr. Niederhoff as advisers the students are currently involved in fun proiects from fund rais- ing to making totem poles. In the near future the club is planning to go to Santa Cruz for an art exhibition. The S.T.E.P. CStudents Teachers Engineers Pro- gramsj club was specially designed for students who have technical engineering in mind for a career. The students Mr. Miller and Mr. Duran Cadvisorsj go to observe places as l.B.M. and F.M.C. to get an idea ot the career the students are pursuing. Clubs

CLUBS The CSF CCalifornia Schol- arship Federationj club is a I honor society based on the grade level of the students. The members provide ser- l vices for the school in the form of projects. Some of these projects include rais- ing money for needy stu- dents and managing the concession stands at the games. The advisors are Mr. Taylor, Mr. Miller, Ms Rowney, Mr. Hedberg, Mr. Gallerman, and Ms. Man eri. The Amateur Radio club makes transmitters and receivers so that they will be able to communicate with people all over the world. The students are currently involved in attending classes in an effort to get a novice license. The advisors are: Mr. Cross and Mr. Sykes. FQADI Clubs 3625

The Math club's purpose is to help prepare the mem- bers to enter into math contests. Some of the members competed in the ESUHD contest and came in first. One of their recent fund raising projects con- sisted ot setting up a bio- rhythm machine for stu- dents to use. The advisors Ms. Banks and Mr. Tomasso. The National Honor Society is a service oriented organ- ization. lt is the oldest honor club in the United States. Students who have a GPA of 3.0 and above are specially selected for this club. The 15 members have been involved in recy- cling aluminum cans for scholarship purposes, vol- unteer work with elderly in convalescent homes, and the sponsoring of the Win- ter Carnival. The advisors are: Mrs. Waterer, Mrs. Gil- liespie, and Mrs. King. HO Clubs
